Assalamualaikum and good morning everyone.
It has been quite a long time since my last entry in this blog. Someone has been asking me about the read aloud websites that I've been referring to since the first time I became engaged in this activity. So, today I'd like to take this opportunity to share with you two of the websites that have been my references which motivate me to promote read aloud in my local community.

This is the website that really inspired me and make me took the best action ever in this venture - first I read every pages in his website than I bought his book, the 5th. edition, from an online bookstore based in Singapore. That book has been the best reference ever for me until this day.

ReadAloud.org
This website has given me so many free articles, handouts, pamphlets and etc. which I've used to print out and read them again and again. However this days I don't know whether they still give them for free or not. The website is really cool and engaging and I believe parents, teachers and children too will love things that can be found in that website.

I have this confidence inside me that when you really want to practice read aloud with your children, inshaAllah you can do it. As Muslims we know that reading and knowledge are the most important aspect in our life. Even the first ayah from the Qur'an tells us to read.
To engaged children in reading and eventually help them love knowledge, books and such has a very simple approach that you can do within 15 - 20 minutes. It's reading aloud.
